Sunday, Dec. 10th – Day 3 – 10:00am-3:30pm

Join Tim Carbone on our Annual Day of Service!

Funds raised this year at Strings & Sol will support a grant for Lazaro Cárdenas primary school in Central Viarta, a small community with little financial means, but rich with community relationships. The grant will fund much needed construction projects to the community school including: waterproofing the roof, adding a water storage tank for the bathroom, and constructing an additional educational space for primary and secondary schools to take place.

The school also serves as the community’s gathering space, bringing people of all ages together for social activities and strengthening their cultural identity. The community members only have enough funds to meet necessary means such as food, water and shelter, making the school infrastructure improvements unattainable without your and Positive Legacy’s support.

Monday, Dec. 11th – Day 4
Silent Auction: 4:00pm-7:20pm | Live Auction: 6:45pm (Lobby Bar)

Come bid on autographed photos, concert tickets, and unique memorabilia from Strings & Sol musicians at the live and silent auctions! Auction proceeds support Positive Legacy’s humanitarian and environmental projects.

Do you have a unique item that you would like to donate to the Positive Legacy Charity Auction during Strings & Sol? Your donation will be on display throughout the event and the funds that your item raises will go directly to our environmental & humanitarian projects in the local community.

Contact Jess today about donating an item:

Positive Legacy and Trees, Water & People make it easy to travel responsibly, by offsetting the emissions from your travel to Mexico for Strings & Sol. We appreciate those that donated to the carbon offset program in 2016. Your donations support a community tree nursery that is producing 10,000 trees a year for rural communities on the north coast of Haiti, providing the sequestration of thousands of tons of carbon dioxide emissions. You can offset your carbon footprint by making a donation when booking your 2017 reservation.

We are always looking for a few good helping hands onsite at our events to:

  • Collect and organize donations at events
  • Assist our team to prepare items for our Charity Auctions
  • Staff the Positive Legacy table on site and share the activities and great work we are doing
  • Participate in one of Day of Service events Act as a Volunteer Captain for “Day Of” events and outings

The donations collected during Strings & Sol will be disbursed to the local medical clinics and schools.
